

Inhale, then exhale as you press your tongue out and down as far as you can. Follow by pulling the tongue in and curling it. Press your tongue to the roof of your mouth as hard as you can, contractÂing the middle of the anus and the esophagus to help the tongue. (Fig. 4.38) With more practice you will know how to use the inside force, the force from the organs, to press your tongue up. Even though the tongue has no bones to exert force, you will still be able to exercise the tongue well.
